Where the information comes from
Every review starts with the game's official Google Play and App Store listings: description, developer, price, in-app purchases, ads, ratings and update history. Each language uses its own store: the US for English, Turkey for Turkish, Mexico for Spanish and Brazil for Portuguese. That way prices and currencies match what you will see.
How a review is written
A first draft is written with AI assistance (Claude) from the store data, following the same template for every game: summary, gameplay, progression, monetization & ads, who it is for, pros and cons, and the score.
An editor reads every draft, checks the flagged points and approves it before it goes live; nothing is published automatically. Because drafts are based on store data, we never claim hours of play we have not done, and we avoid numbers the store does not provide. Some reviews also carry an “Editor’s take”: a short note from the editor after trying the game.
How the score works
Scores are out of 10 and judged against the game's own genre: a puzzle game is compared with other puzzle games, not with a console title. Four sub-scores sit next to the overall score: gameplay, progression, monetization and content.
In free casual games, ads between levels and optional rewarded ads are the norm, so they don't lower the score on their own. What does: ads that interrupt play, paywalls, lost progress or frequent technical problems.
What players say
This section summarizes common themes in the most helpful Google Play reviews from that language's store. We describe trends in our own words; we never quote reviews or name reviewers.
Keeping reviews current
Each review shows when it was published and last updated, and store facts such as price and rating are refreshed every month. Prices, ratings and features can change with game updates, so the store page always has the final word.
